Job summary

Winebow is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Manager in Pine Brook, NJ to lead the receipt and movement of products and manage warehouse and fleet activities. You will drive performance metrics, staffing, budgeting, and safety programs to ensure efficient order fulfillment and compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and collaboration with sales and merchandising teams, with a focus on cost-effective distribution and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• Experience in distribution center operations and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management for all warehouse and fleet processes.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, metrics reporting, and corrective actions.
• Ensure cost-effective delivery in partnership with sales and merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, audits, HOS, and drug testing requirements.

We want our Winebow family to feel at home and to be empowered to bring their best selves forward.We seek talent from all backgrounds to join our organization and are dedicated to achieving a diverse workforce in all aspects of employment including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, promotion, training, benefits, wage and salary equity.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provides strong leadership and management for all processes related to the receipt and movement of Winebow products.Manages the daily operational activities of the warehouse and fleet, to include oversite of all metrics reporting and developing corrective actions for improvement.Ensures cost-effective delivery of customer orders in partnership with sales/merchandising team.Supports external and internal customers; customer service, store relations, sales support, and vendor relations.Ensures compliance with all State and Federal regulatory requirements: DOT, Sec. 404, AIB, Internal/External Audits, DQF, HOS, and random drug testing.Responsible for a safe work environment, conducting forklift training, safety meetings, and driver training.Manage inventory to meet customer requirements, to include order filling, capacity planning, and slotting.Manages supply chain from Distribution Center to shelf, to include order cycle, receiving, picking, shipping, route management and order accuracy.Develops site specific facility processes and metrics to enhance the current operating system.Ensure product and warehouse layout is updated to support capacity requirements and maximize warehouse productivity.Responsible for staffing, staffing planning, conducting performance appraisals on direct reports, budgeting, ensuring compliance with training requirements, developing direct reports and controlling division expenditures as it relates to personnel.Develop annual operating budgets, process all accounts payable invoices, and manage all operating expenses. Review financial reports to ensure accuracy of facility expenses.Arrivals at work, meetings, appointments and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.OTHER FUNCTIONS:Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environmentStrong leadership skills, as well as knowledge of regulatory and company policy.Strong communication skills across broad network of contacts.Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to ManagerOther duties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONS:Normal office environment and warehouse environment. May be subjected to loud noise, temperature and weather extremes, occasional overtime and travel.EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED:Standard office equipment, including computer, fax, photocopier, and telephone.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sitting, manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, and occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in distribution center operations.Five years of experience in distribution center operations management.Minimum of 5 years experience directly supervising, managing, or leading employees with demonstrated ability to provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback.Demonstrated computer skills.Ability to plan and organize.Knowledge of and experience with fleet and warehouse equipment.Valid driver's license.The salary range for this position is $135,000.00 - $140,000.00. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 15%. If you are hired at Winebow, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience.
