Job summary

Levain Bakery in New York City seeks a Director of Operational Programs to own the planning, design, and scaling of bakery programs. You will lead cross‑functional teams, craft roadmaps, and drive initiatives that free field teams to focus on customers.

The role is hands-on, data-driven, and highly collaborative, reporting to the COO. Expect in-office work with regular bakery and commissary visits across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field.
• 7+ years leading cross-functional programs or operations.
• Experience designing scalable processes for multi-site environments.
• Proficiency with project tools and analytics to size impact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own program strategy and roadmaps with KPIs, timelines, budgets, risks.
• Partner with senior leaders across marketing, supply chain, and operations.
• Identify risks, drive data-backed solutions, and manage change.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews and executive updates.
• Create org-wide operating rhythms and scalable processes.
