Job summary

FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Director to design and lead the company’s continuous improvement system and drive a culture of operational excellence.

The role requires partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to define strategy, governance, and top-priority initiatives across Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading transformation in GMP manufacturing or regulated environments, preferably CDMO.
• Ability to partner with executive leadership and drive cross-functional accountability.
• Proven track record delivering measurable results through transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead site continuous improvement transformation strategy with the Executive Leadership Team.
• Establish and maintain a continuous improvement operating system across functions.
• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives across Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, PD, R&D, Supply Chain, and more to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and resource management.
• Convert strategic goals into improvement projects with defined deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and dashboards for visual management across functions.
• Train the organization in Lean, Six Sigma, and change management to sustain improvements.
• Establish governance and accountability to sustain organization-wide results.
