Job summary

MCC Label is seeking an senior OpEx leader to drive Lean transformation across our Americas manufacturing network. You will oversee OpEx strategy, deployment, and capability building to deliver measurable improvements across sites.

You will coach plant leaders, establish standardized routines, oversee Kaizen and value-stream initiatives, and partner with Finance to validate savings. Travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Multi-site OpEx experience.
• Experience scaling a standard operating cadence across multi-site networks.
• Proven track record of developing site leaders into larger roles.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, MDI, A3, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt (Preferred).
• Packaging or high-volume manufacturing experience (Preferred).
• S&OP experience (Preferred).
• MBA (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead OpEx strategy across the Americas network.
• Translate enterprise priorities into site-level action plans and roll site results back up into enterprise metrics; act as the link between plant execution and VP/ELT strategy.
• Support S&OP optimization and end-to-end process improvement.
• Create and enforce a standard lean operating cadence (tiered daily management, gemba routines, leader standard work).
• Strengthen Managing Daily Improvement (MDI) systems.
• Run a formal certification and capability-maturity model for sites, tied to OpEx pillars, creating healthy competition and a roadmap for underperforming plants.
• Lead Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping activities.
• Own the productivity improvement funnel end-to-end with a standard scorecard reviewed monthly across all sites.
• Partner with Finance to validate savings and productivity gains.
• Lead post-project audits to confirm savings have held at 90 and 180 days.
• Coach plant leaders in Lean methodologies.
• Build and develop a bench of Site OpEx Managers with clear capability standards and a succession pipeline.
