The Director of Operational Excellence will play a vital role in shaping the future of Solstice Advanced Materials by developing and implementing cutting-edge operational processes. This position is responsible for leading a diverse team of experts in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. The Director will report directly to the Director of Digital & Operational Excellence within the Spin-off of Solstice Advanced Materials, and will be instrumental in driving performance improvements and achieving strategic objectives.

This role will develop and implement the Operational Excellence program across 20 global manufacturing locations. The Director will collaborate closely with the Solstice Advanced Materials leadership team to establish foundational manufacturing best practices, and assist with their implementation across the organization. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for identifying and implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Another key aspect of the role is the development and implementation of Operational Execution standards across Solstice Advanced Materials. The Director will work hand-in-hand with site leadership to understand their challenges and devise tailored system solutions to address these issues. Continuous improvement is a core responsibility, as the Director will lead efforts to drive performance enhancements and optimize processes within the organization.

Furthermore, the Director will guide, coach, mentor, and develop manufacturing site personnel, while ensuring their efforts are aligned with the company's strategic goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to achieve performance objectives and deliver impactful results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement best-in-class operational infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Solstice Advanced Materials leadership team to develop foundational manufacturing best practices, then assist with implementation
  • Identify and implement solutions to streamline operations
  • Develop and implement Operational Execution standards across Solstice Advanced Materials
  • Collaborate with site leadership to understand their problems, and devise system solutions to solve these problems
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Guide, coach, mentor, and develop manufacturing site personnel
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve performance objectives

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven track record of implementing processes and systems
  • Background using industry best practices like Six Sigma, Lean, Agile
  • Working knowledge of operational tools, infrastructure, and best practices
