Job summary

GSK is seeking a Director, Oncology Translational Medicine Project Manager to lead external alliances and drive translational biomarker strategies across the global oncology portfolio.

You will oversee regulatory submissions, CPMS components, and cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory, and Finance. The role requires strong leadership in a matrix environment and a track record in biomarker development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related discipline.
• 10+ years of project/program or alliance management experience in biotech/pharma.
• Experience with biomarker/diagnostic development and regulatory submissions.
• Knowledge of drug discovery, clinical trials and Dx development.

Responsibilities

• Lead external alliances and academic collaborations focused on biomarker discovery and acceleration.
• Support alliance objectives, scope, and success metrics aligned with oncology priorities.
• Coordinate forums with partners ensuring decisions and actions are documented.
• Translate strategy into integrated project plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Track alliance workplans and ensure alignment with scientific needs and timelines.
• Monitor milestones and KPIs; coordinate course corrections where needed.
• Support contracting activities and SOW development with procurement and study leads.
• Coordinate alliance budgets: track spend, PO/invoice workflows.
• Monitor progress and escalate risks; develop mitigation plans.
• Schedule and run alliance and project team meetings with agendas and minutes.
• Maintain integrated CPMS plans for regulatory submissions across oncology portfolio.
• Support regulatory submission readiness and CPMS documentation.
• Track documents, reviews, and approvals; identify gaps and mitigation.
