Job summary

GSK is seeking a Director, Clinical Science – Oncology Clinical Development to provide scientific leadership across study design, data review, and interpretation within a defined clinical programme. You will collaborate with the Clinical Matrix Team and cross-functional partners to advance oncology assets with rigorous data integrity and strategic alignment.

This role requires deep oncology clinical development expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a complex matrix

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech clinical development with oncology focus.
Experience from early-stage to regulatory submission.
Experience with cross-functional matrix teams and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of authoring protocols, IBs, CSRs, and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific leadership across study design, data review and interpretation within CDL direction.
Act as core member of Clinical Matrix Team ensuring alignment of objectives and timelines.
Inform asset-level strategy and program decisions through scientific insights.
Ensure quality and consistency of key clinical documents (protocols, IBs, CSRs, submission materials).
Collaborate with investigators and external experts; contribute to scientific communications and publications.
