Job summary

Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, FL is seeking an experienced Director to lead the Wound Healing Institute. You will oversee clinical and support staff, coordinate wound care and hyperbaric services, and ensure high-quality, compliant patient care across the department.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and prior wound care or healthcare leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field preferred.
• Experience in wound care and healthcare leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement.
• Hyperbaric medicine experience or certification is a plus.
• Wound care certification such as CWCN, CWS, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the Wound Healing Institute.
• Supervise, support, and develop clinical and support staff.
• Coordinate wound care and hyperbaric services to promote high-quality patient care.
• Monitor outcomes, quality measures, and departmental performance.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and departmental goals.
• Promote patient satisfaction and a positive patient experience.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and referrals.
