Job summary

Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association in New Jersey seeks a Program Director to lead worship, spiritual formation, cultural events, guest services, and recreational programming. You will manage budgets, oversee staff, collaborate with a program committee, and ensure alignment with ministry values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, nonprofit management, communications, or related field.
• Master of Divinity or theology degree preferred.
• Proven ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs.
• Strong budgeting and multi-project management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all Sunday morning and weekend worship programs; supervise worship services.
• Coordinate cultural events and community programming.
• Develop and manage program budgets; handle accounting and reconciliation.
• Negotiate artist and vendor agreements.
• Oversee program guide, website content, social media, and signage.
• Lead staff and committee meetings; manage department calendar.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and staff.
• Supervise youth, children’s, and performing arts ministries.
• Coordinate volunteer groups such as Ladies Auxiliary, Ushers, and Choir.
