Job summary

Calvary Chapel Melbourne is seeking a Women’s Ministry Leader to provide leadership and vision for the ministry, ensuring programs align with the church’s mission and biblical values. You will pray for the ministry and keep God's Word at the center.

Calvary Chapel Melbourne Campus must be your home church with regular attendance. The role includes organizing Bible studies, mentoring volunteers, budgeting, and coordinating events.

Qualifications

• Effective communicator who can mentor others.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
• Good knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask while serving women at CCM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Women's Ministry, Biblical Counseling staff, groups, and volunteers (Acts 20:28)
• Organize and teach Bible studies to help women grow in knowledge of God's Word
• Collaborate with Leadership Team to promote unity in CCM ministry
• Disciple and shepherd women, offering encouragement, prayer, and spiritual guidance
• Develop annual ministry budgets and goals (Luke 14:28)
• Plan and oversee Women's Ministry events, retreats, classes, and outreach
• Recruit and train volunteers and leaders for Women's Ministries
• Be part of weekend services, specifically Sunday mornings
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Summary:

Provide overall leadership and vision for the Women's Ministry, ensuring that programs and activities align with the church’s mission and biblical values. This includes praying for the ministry and keeping God's Word at the center. Calvary Chapel Melbourne Campus must be your home church with regular attendance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Women's Ministry, Biblical Counseling staff, groups, and volunteers (Acts 20:28)
• Organize and teach Bible studies designed to help women grow in their knowledge of God's Word and their relationship with Christ (Colossians 3:16)
• Collaborate with our Leadership Team and other ministry departments to promote unity and strengthen the overall ministry of CCM (Hebrews 10:24-25)
• Disciple and shepherd women, providing encouragement, prayer, & spiritual guidance as needed, helping women to discover and use their gifts in serving the church (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
• Develop annual ministry budgets and goals (Luke 14:28)
• Plan and oversee Women's Ministry events, including retreats, classes, special gatherings, and outreach (Proverbs 16:3)
• Recruit and train volunteers and leaders to assist in Women's Ministries, communicating expectations, providing resources, and expressing appreciation for their service
• Be part of the ministry that happens during weekend services, specifically on Sunday mornings on a consistent basis (Hebrews 10-25)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
