Historic Yellow Springs, Inc. seeks a Director of Visitor Experience & Operations to lead events, weddings, tours, volunteer programs, and visitor services.

The role focuses on enhancing the visitor experience, growing earned revenue, and ensuring sustainable operations across retail and site engagement. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will supervise staff, develop revenue opportunities, and implement customer-centric processes that align with the organization's mission and goals.

Qualificações

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• 5+ years of retail, sales, or related experience.
• Experience with CRM, Email, or class registration software preferred.
• Experience with Square or other POS sales systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership for events, weddings, volunteer programs, tours, and visitor services.
• Oversee retail operations including merchandising, inventory management, pricing, and sales performance.
• Develop strategies to increase earned revenue through retail, visitor amenities, and product offerings.
• Refine systems to improve efficiency and profitability of on-site visitor interactions.
• Collaborate across departments to align visitor engagement, marketing, and program goals.
