Cengage Group is seeking a UX Design Director to shape the future of educational technology. You will lead and mentor a high-performing design team, set design strategy, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions grounded in user insights.

You will drive modern experiences, establish standards, and stay ahead of design trends and AI capabilities to ensure top-quality care for learners and educators alike.

Qualifications

• Senior UX Design leadership experience with 3+ years managing design teams of 10+.
• Deep expertise in UX/UI design principles and human-centered design methodologies.
• Proven ability to mentor, develop talent, and influence cross-functional partners.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to align product, engineering and marketing.
• Portfolio is required to be considered for this position.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a design team to create modern, data-informed experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Marketing to align priorities and embed UX principles.
• Define and evolve UX standards, design principles, and patterns across products.
• Evaluate customer experience using data and insights to drive improvements.
