Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Director, Underwriting for a remote role in the United States. This leadership role guides multiple underwriting teams, drives pricing strategy, financial analysis, and competitive proposals to support client contracts.

You will partner with Blue Plan Underwriting and Sales leadership to shape ASO pricing, oversee underwriting operations, and ensure consistent practices while delivering sustainable financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 8 years of underwriting, healthcare finance, pricing, or related experience.
• 5 years of leadership/people management experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic direction and day to day guidance to underwriting managers.
• Develops ASO pricing and margin strategies with leadership.
• Oversees and coordinates workflow for the underwriting team.
• Ensures responses for RFPs are complete and accurate.
• Consults on contractual terms and documentation.
• Maintains SOPs and tracks bids; supports staffing and efficiency initiatives.
• Provides direct support to Blue Plan Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
