Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Underwriting to lead multiple underwriting teams, shape pricing strategy, and drive financial performance. This remote role oversees underwriting operations across client segments and partners across the organization to influence business strategy and sustainable outcomes.

The position requires executive-level communication, ability to influence senior leaders on pricing and underwriting initiatives, and a track record of delivering margin growth.

Qualifications

• 8 years of underwriting, healthcare finance, pricing, consulting, actuarial, or related experience.
• 5 years of leadership/people management experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic direction and day-to-day guidance to underwriting managers to meet organizational needs.
• Works with Blue Plan Underwriting and Sales to develop ASO pricing and margin strategies.
• Oversees and coordinates underwriting workflow and bid processes.
• Collaborates with Proposal, Legal, and Client Engagement to ensure accurate financial responses to RFPs.
• Ensures SOPs are followed and drives staffing, productivity metrics and efficiency improvements.
• Offers direct support to Blue Plan Leadership and other duties as assigned.
