Chewy seeks an experienced Director of Transportation Strategy & Network Planning to define and own the long-term strategy for Chewy’s transportation network, design, carrier strategy, and capabilities. This leader will set the five-year roadmap, optimize cost, speed, capacity, and customer experience, and translate growth and financial objectives into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in transportation, logistics, or network planning with leadership.
• Strong financial and analytical acumen with experience building business cases.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and make high-quality decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Chewy’s long-term transportation strategy and portfolio roadmap.
• Lead the five-year transportation strategy and capability roadmap.
• Establish direction for transportation network planning and capacity planning.
• Make tradeoffs across cost, speed, service, capacity, and customer experience.
• Develop business cases and investment strategies for major network changes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Technology, Product, and more.
