The Director, Global Logistics will be responsible for developing and executing transportation strategies, managing carrier relationships, and driving cost-saving initiatives. This role involves leading cross-enterprise strategic initiatives, leveraging technology for continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with logistics management principles and practices.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, supply chain and logistics
- Must have eight (8) years of experience working in transportation, logistics or supply chain
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have at least a Master’s Degree or higher in Business
- Must have five (5) years of leadership experience
- Have working experience in transportation operations, logistics, or supply chain management
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have experience working in leadership roles, supervising others, or leading teams
- Have proficiency in logistics software and systems
- Have five (5) years of experience in supply chain with a focus on distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and regional hubs
- Have working experience with contract negotiation and management
- Have working experience with data analysis and reporting
- Have experience with strategic sourcing and optimization
- Have experience building/editing dashboards in Tableau or similar software
- Have experience with LEAN certification/Six Sigma training
- Have experience working in multidivisional, matrix, and regional working environments
Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy Execution: Implement the supply chain strategy and manage 3PL providers to meet customer needs.
- 3PL Partner Selection: Provide input during the selection of 3PL partners and embed performance knowledge into future selections.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify issues and drive improvements across the supply chain through resolution sessions.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and ensure organizational buy-in.
- Vendor Management: Support vendor onboarding, assess vendors, and manage SLAs and KPIs.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and implement scorecards, manage financial metrics, and monitor vendor performance.
- Relationship Building: Foster relationships with service providers and lead performance meetings.
- Governance and Auditing: Establish processes to monitor vendor performance and support business reviews.
- Logistics OTIF Ownership: Perform root cause analysis and implement action plans for deviations.
- 3PL Footprint Management: Identify needs for adding or eliminating 3PLs and support procurement processes.
- Process Improvement: Lead projects to enhance logistics processes and implement advanced technologies.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to logistics management principles and applicable regulations.
- Warehouse Management: Evaluate and optimize warehouse space and implement S&OPs.
- Freight Bill Audit: Own logistics cost control and develop best-in-class tools and processes.
- Transportation Strategy: Develop and execute strategies, manage budgets, and lead cost-saving initiatives.
- Carrier Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with carriers, manage contracts, and ensure compliance.
- Cross-Enterprise Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders to optimize logistics processes and drive execution.
- Cost Efficiency: Identify and deliver cost efficiencies and manage logistics budgets.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Ensure programs are in place for strategic suppliers and provide updates to leadership.
- Industry Leadership: Represent the company in areas like omni-channel fulfillment and international trade.
