Job summary

Avangrid Power, LLC is seeking a Director, Transmission/Interconnection to lead interconnection and transmission strategies across the U.S. ISO/RTO landscape, manage key relationships with regulators, utilities and project developers, and guide a team of Interconnection Analysts.

You will file and negotiate interconnection agreements, support FERC filings, and coordinate with development, project delivery and policy groups to align schedules and ensure compliant, timely execution.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating interconnection agreements with project schedules and risk.
• Knowledge of ISO tariff procedures and generator interconnections.
• Understanding of FERC orders and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute interconnection and transmission strategies nationwide.
• Represent Avangrid Renewables' strategy before ISOs/RTOs and regulators.
• Lead and develop a team of interconnection analysts.
• Coordinate negotiations for new interconnection agreements and studies.
