Responsibilities

• Own the Manager-in-Training program from placement through graduation.

• Measure training impact and communicate ROI results to leadership.

A growing, full-service, scratch-kitchen restaurant brand is looking for a Director of Training to own how its managers and teams are prepared to succeed. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor leadership role for someone who understands restaurant operations, knows how to develop people, and turns opportunities into practical training that improves performance. You will work as an extension of the Operations team, alongside HR and senior leadership.

Based at the Restaurant Support Center in downtown Atlanta (in office, not remote or hybrid). Travel is roughly 40-50%, mostly short trips. Relocation assistance is available.

What You'll Do

• Own the Manager-in-Training program from placement through graduation, so new managers arrive ready to lead.
• Partner with Directors of Operations and restaurant leaders to change behaviors, close execution gaps and improve results, especially in priority restaurants.
• Keep the front- and heart-of-house training tools accurate, practical and actually used, and build tools that help restaurants adopt new company initiatives.
• Lead training for new restaurant openings, from the calendar and training teams through opening day.
• Measure whether training is working and communicate the results and return on investment.
• Own the training budget, the annual Operations Manual update, and food safety and alcohol certification compliance.

What We're Looking For

• A strong restaurant operations background; General Manager experience or above preferred.
• A track record of training, coaching and developing restaurant managers and teams.
• Able to create and improve training tools and programs, not only deliver existing content.
• Resourceful, curious and comfortable with technology and AI, with a get-it-done attitude.
• Sound judgment, high standards, direct communication and a bias for practical solutions.
• Based in, or relocating to, the Atlanta area.
