Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Sr. Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across multiple trailer manufacturing sites in Ohio.

You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost discipline while building a unified 'One Team' culture focused on accountability and collaboration. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, oversee capital investments, and partner with senior leadership to align capacity with demand, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong P&L

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience, with multi-site oversight.
• Proven success leading large, complex organizations with P&L responsibility.
• Lean enterprise transformation experience across multiple facilities.
• Strong understanding of financial metrics and KPIs; knowledge of trailer industry standards (DOT, FMVSS).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior operations leader across multiple trailer manufacturing sites.
• Develop and implement a multi-site operational strategy for growth and standardization.
• Champion safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence on the shop floor.
• Lead and mentor plant managers and functional leaders with clear goals and alignment.
• Define long-term production capacity, workforce planning, and capital investment plans.
• Collaborate with OEMs and dealer networks to drive growth and resolve issues.
• Oversee SQDC objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
