Job summary

Genmab is seeking a Director/Associate Director of Thought Leader Engagement in the U.S. to lead national strategies with Head & Neck Oncology KOLs and Medical Experts as we prepare for petosemtamab.

The role partners with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to shape engagement and launch readiness. You will recruit and train a speaker bureau, synthesize insights, and ensure compliant, differentiated interactions that deliver a One Genmab experience across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years pharma/biotech experience for Director; 8+ years for Associate Director.
• Significant oncology marketing, sales, or medical affairs experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships with KOLs and senior external stakeholders.
• Ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Strong cross-functional influence without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel 50–60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop national thought leader engagement strategy for pre-launch and launch of petosemtamab.
• Build relationships with national/regional Head & Neck oncology KOLs and Medical Experts.
• Monitor oncology landscape and identify trends affecting adoption.
• Lead engagement planning for major oncology congresses and meetings.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate the speaker bureau in compliance with policies.
• Deliver a One Genmab experience across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
• Share insights with cross-functional stakeholders and establish processes for insights sharing.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and agency partners.
