Job summary

Association Management Center (AMC) is seeking a Director of Technology Services to lead IT operations, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. The role directs a team of senior leaders, aligns technology with business needs, and ensures secure, reliable services for AMC and its clients.

Out-of-state candidates may be considered for remote work depending on location. The position is hybrid, based in Schaumburg, IL, with minimal travel and a focus on governance, modernization, and strategic technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/engineering/business or related field
• 10+ years IT leadership experience
• 5+ years experience managing teams or matrixed technical functions
• Experience overseeing technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management, and service delivery
• Strong budgeting, strategic planning and people leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead AMC’s IT operations, help desk, and service management.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
• Set governance standards across infrastructure, security, architecture, and operations.
• Provide strategic direction for technology architecture, SaaS integration, workflow automation, data architecture, and modernization.
• Oversee cybersecurity operations, risk management, and security tooling strategy.
• Own the Technology Services (IT) budget and vendor landscape; manage licensing and contracts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology priorities with product delivery.
