Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a senior Technical Program Manager to define and drive the program strategy for large multi‑team initiatives. You will partner with engineering, product, and architecture leaders to translate business goals into clear technical plans and scalable data/API contracts.

You will build a high‑performing TPM organization, manage risk and dependencies, and champion data‑driven delivery with AI/ML awareness to improve outcomes across Expedia Group’s platforms and travel services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years in program management and 5+ years people management.
Experience driving large cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams.
Ownership of complex programs from inception to launch.
Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, data flows, and architectures.
Experience with governance and metrics for large portfolios.

Responsibilities

Define, drive, and refine the technical program strategy and roadmap for large multi‑team initiatives.
Lead end-to-end delivery, manage risks and dependencies, ensure timely outcomes.
Translate business objectives into technical requirements and API/data contracts.
Establish scalable TPM practices, tooling, metrics for execution and readiness.
Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing TPM team across domains.
Leverage data, analytics, and AI/ML tools to optimize delivery workflows.
