Airbnb is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Education to lead the TechEd team responsible for bootcamps, EngU and DataU programs, and AI skills enablement. You will partner with stakeholders to design and scale learning experiences that accelerate engineers' growth.

This remote-eligible role requires a proven track record in technical education strategy, people leadership, and collaboration with vendors to deliver high-impact programs at a global tech company.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience guiding strategy and execution for technical education.
• 5+ years experience as a people manager.
• Direct technical expertise with coding or data science is a bonus.
• Track record of best-in-class experience design and innovation.
• Ability to shape a vision and execute roadmap.
• Experience scaling initiatives for an organization of ~3000.
• Experience with vendors to execute a vision.
• Comfortable with learning technologies and educational technology.
• Lifelong learner with curiosity about new technologies and L&D practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Connect with stakeholders to assess skill gaps and needs.
• Define vision and strategy for technical education.
• Coach team and give feedback on programs.
• Provide SME on learning science and skill acquisition.
