Job summary

Netflix is seeking a DevEd leader to shape a forward-looking vision for technical training that multiplies impact as engineering shifts to a global inclusive model. The role drives our learning programs and builds a high-performing team of managers, designers, writers, and facilitators across Netflix.

The candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and support groups, evolving the strategy with product-like KPIs and a strong emphasis on inclusion, diversity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Robust management of technical learning teams through setting vision and strategy.
• Design and implementation of multiple learning courses and blended learning methods.
• Ability to navigate diverse stakeholder groups, building and maintaining successful partnerships with influence across the organization.
• Capability to grow and sustain a learning culture that amplifies company potential.
• Experience setting long-term vision while executing near-term plans.

Responsibilities

• Shape the vision, strategy, and operations of our technical learning efforts across Netflix.
• Construct and lead a sizable team of software managers, instructional designers, technical writers, and facilitators.
• Foster a culture of learning that promotes inclusion and diversity in teams, interactions, and learning styles.
• Develop robust partnerships with Engineering, Product, and support groups to create continuous feedback loops and ensure we address the most impactful problems.
• Evolve learning strategy to be product-led with relevant KPIs to evaluate impact and refine the roadmap.
