Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools seeks a Director of Talent Development to accelerate student achievement by leading high-impact professional learning and coaching for emerging campus leaders. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role builds data-driven programs that improve teacher practice and student outcomes across the Texas region.

The role emphasizes design of statewide and regional learning, scalable train-the-trainer systems, and collaboration with the Academics and School Management teams

Qualifications

• Experience in school leadership and campus management
• Proven track record designing and facilitating high-impact professional learning for educators and leaders
• Experience coaching and developing teachers and leaders through observation and feedback cycles
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-departmental initiatives and drive results through influence rather than direct authority
• Evidence of developing and executing against a strategy with measurable outcomes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-impact professional learning aligned to the KIPP Texas criteria and 70/20/10 model
• Plan statewide and regional development experiences for returning and novice leaders
• Ensure high-quality, excellence-driven professional learning design across programs
• Lead large-scale professional learning events and train-the-trainer initiatives
• Coordinate asynchronous learning and required training across the state
• Collaborate with Academics and School Management to support novice leaders
• Use data to drive multi-tier development, track progress, and inform learning designs
• Maintain a culture of feedback, collaboration, and continuous improvement
