Consumers Energy seeks a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and transform the recruitment function in alignment with strategic goals. The role oversees TA operations, onboarding experiences, and employer branding, while ensuring diverse hiring and compliance across the organization.

The candidate will manage budget, measure performance, and coach a high-performing team, with hybrid onsite days at One Energy Plaza in Jackson, MI. A strong track record in TA leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related with 10 years of HR and talent acquisition leadership.
• Alternate: Associate's degree with 12 years in HR & TA in a leadership role.
• Alternate: High school diploma with 14 years in HR & TA in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to align TA efforts with business strategy.
• Lead and manage process improvements within the TA department.
• Develop TA strategy including onboarding experience improvements.
• Ensure diverse candidate pools and interview panels.
• Oversee TA operations, metrics, and budget management.
• Coach and develop TA team for performance and growth.
• Ensure compliance with employment and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee talent roadmap and departmental objectives.
