Job summary

Bay Area Turning Point in Texas seeks a Housing Director to lead HUD ESG and CoC housing programs serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

You will oversee program compliance, supervise staff, manage budgets, foster partnerships with landlords and community agencies, and promote survivor-centered, trauma‑informed housing that supports healing and long‑term stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ESG and CoC regulations, VAWA protections, and HUD program compliance.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in a nonprofit or advocacy setting.
• Familiarity with HMIS or comparable databases specific to domestic violence programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage HUD ESG and CoC housing programs, ensuring survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive standards.
• Monitor compliance with HUD regulations, VAWA protections, ESG/CoC guidelines, and federal confidentiality requirements.
• Ensure accurate database entry, reporting, and data quality specific to domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking programs.
• Develop policies and procedures prioritizing survivor safety, choice, and confidentiality.
