Job summary

Washington State University seeks a Director of Student Success and Advising in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPPS) to lead advising teams, develop programs, and drive retention and degree completion for PharmD students.

You will supervise Academic and Student Success Advisors, manage caseloads, and align strategies with university policies and best practices. Emphasis on collaboration, equity, and student-centered guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4 years of full-time academic advising experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 1 year of professional work experience.
• Experience advising diverse student populations and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Academic and Student Success Advisors.
• Oversee advising programs to improve retention and graduation rates.
• Handle escalated student issues and coordinate with faculty and staff.
