Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing to lead global sourcing strategy for servers, networking, storage, and data center infrastructure. You will manage a team of Commodity Managers and work with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity through NPI and lifecycle transitions.

The role requires 12+ years in sourcing with 5+ years in leadership, strong negotiation, and strategic supplier partnerships, in a fast-paced tech manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 12+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• 5+ years leading sourcing or procurement teams.
• Deep knowledge of server, networking, storage, semiconductor, or data center infrastructure.
• Strong negotiation and supplier development skills.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for technology commodities including servers, networking, optics, GPU, CPU, memory, SSD, HDD.
• Lead and mentor a team of Commodity Managers, Product Sourcing Managers, and Sourcing Specialists.
• Establish long-term supplier strategies for cost optimization and supply continuity.
• Drive supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Executive Leadership on NPI and lifecycle management.
• Lead executive supplier reviews with KPIs on pricing, quality, and delivery.
