Overview

We are looking for Director of Strategic Finance to join our team. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Actuarial Services and is responsible for creating the blueprints for success and ensuring that emerging results track to plan. Gentiva is partnering with payers, providers, and risk-bearing entities to create a value-based palliative care offering targeting patients approaching end of life. This is a great opportunity to grow and advance within the organization. The position is fully remote, working central or eastern time zone hours.

Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain a unit economic model for the value-based care business.
2. Create a multi-year financial plan outlining pathways to achieve overall business objectives.
3. Build monthly forecasts and update quarterly based on emerging results.
4. Produce monthly reports summarizing results compared to expectations and highlighting key drivers.
5. Conduct scenario modeling to illustrate impacts of entering new markets, signing new partnerships, or modifying care models.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance role within the healthcare industry.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Medicare in a value-based care environment.
• Deep understanding of Medicare Advantage.
