Job summary

BRING is seeking a Director of Communications, Outreach and Development to lead external communications, fundraising, and development initiatives. This role sets quality standards for BRING's public voice and ethical fundraising, reporting to the Executive Director as a member of the Executive Management Team.

The position oversees marketing and communications, coordinates with the Director of Retail for events and advertising, and manages budgets across communications, outreach, and development

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' fund development experience including annual campaign.
• Minimum 2 years media experience.
• Experience coordinating and working with volunteers.
• Professional appearance.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads implementation of an annual strategic communications plan that aligns with BRING's overall strategic priorities.
• Provides leadership and oversight of BRING's brand, messaging, public voice, and visual identity to ensure consistent and effective communication across the organization.
• Collaborates with program and department directors to identify outreach priorities, coordinate campaigns, and ensure programs and services are effectively communicated to target audiences.
• Coordinates press releases and media events.
• Generates high quality, compelling outreach, marketing materials, and campaigns that serve BRING's programs and services, including print and digital collateral: newsletter, social media, billboards, radio, and other paid advertising placements.
• Monitors and updates content of BRING's website.
• Serves as general editor of all program digital newsletters (Education and Rethink Business).
• Develops and manages budgets related to communications, marketing, outreach, advertising, events, and development activities.
• Establishes goals and metrics for communications, outreach, and development activities and evaluates results to inform future strategy and resource allocation.
