Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts for Roofing to own the largest multi-location deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. This is an individual contributor role focused on closing high-value multi-market roofing groups across locations.

You will work with our inbound and SDR teams to schedule qualified meetings, manage discovery, proposals, negotiations and close cycles that span 3 to 12 months.

Qualifications

• History of closing $1M+ annual deals.
• Experience selling to roofing groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Not a role for high-volume or single-location / one-call transactional sales.
• Prefer closing business over people management.

Responsibilities

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location roofing accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for roofing contractors operating across several markets. As Director of Strategic Accounts for Roofing, you own our largest multi-location roofing deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with roofing contractors operating across several markets, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: multi-market roofing contractors with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

• You would rather close business than manage people.
