ACHIEVE is seeking a Director of Staff Education to oversee the agency's staff education and development program. This full-time exempt role coordinates training, curricula, and compliance across the organization, including scheduling, instructor coordination, and records management.

The position requires leadership of staff trainers, credentialing management, and oversight of the Relias Training Program. Experience with adult learning principles and development of measurable learning outcomes

Formación

• 5 years of progressive experience in staff education and related leadership roles.
• Proven ability to develop and expand organization-wide learning programs with measurable outcomes.
• Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and performance improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with NYS OPWDD and Waiver regulations.
• Develop and implement agency-wide training programs, curricula, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate agency-wide training and staff development, including scheduling, communications, instructor coordination, training records, and external resources.
• Maintain required certifications and conduct training in CPR, First Aid, SCIP, Defensive Driving, Abuse Rights and Reporting, Fire and Safety, New Employee Orientation, and others.
• Supervise and support staff trainers and instructors, including recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, performance, and professional development.
• Manage instructor credentialing, certification/recertification requirements, and related documentation.
• Oversee Relias Training Program, including course assignments, completion tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain and update training materials and ensure accessibility.
• Evaluate training programs and identify improvements with instructors and programs.
• Assess ongoing agency training needs and recommend solutions.
• Represent the agency on statewide initiatives and stay current on training best practices.
• Develop a network of subject matter experts for content development and peer learning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
