Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA seeks a Chaplain to provide spiritual care for patients, families, and team members, addressing crises and end-of-life concerns. The role coordinates chaplaincy services, leads educational initiatives, and collaborates with HR and campus leadership to support whole-person care.

You will mentor staff chaplains, participate in ethics consults, and contribute to ministry activities across the hospital. A Master’s in Divinity and ACPE CPE units are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Divinity or related field (72-hour minimum) as required for APC Board Certification.
• Minimum 4 ACPE-accredited CPE units (Level 1 and Level 2 engaged).
• 3+ years of clinical chaplaincy experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care for patients, families and staff, including acute crises and end-of-life care.
• Coordinate and supervise spiritual support and chaplaincy services.
• Lead educational events, workshops and ethics discussions.
• Collaborate with HR, campus leadership and ministry liaisons on staffing and programs.
