The University of Georgia is seeking a Director of Spirit to coordinate spirit team practices, tryouts, travel, and recruitment across all spirit programs. This role also oversees mascot operations, budget management, and Nike gear coordination, ensuring compliance with NCAA and institutional rules.

The position requires collegiate coaching experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work nontraditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related coaching experience.
• 4 years of progressive instruction and/or coaching experience with collegiate or club level cheerleading or dance programs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret NCAA, SEC and institutional rules and regulations.

Mansioni

• Coordinate all spirit team practices and annual tryouts.
• Coordinate travel for home and post-season competitions.
• Coordinate youth and college prep clinics and recruit spirit members.
• Track academics of all team members to ensure compliance and manage the spirit budget.
• Mascot operations including casting, invoicing, and supervising appearances.
• Coordinate Nike gear ordering and inventory for cheer, dance and mascot programs.
