Job summary

Health Solutions West in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Director of Specialty Services to lead Case Management, Care Coordination, ACT, ASCENT and related programs, ensuring high-quality, compliant services.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field, 5+ years in human services with 3+ in administration, and Colorado licensure; experience with Medicaid behavioral health services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a recognized mental health profession preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a human services setting, such as a community mental health center, chemical dependency setting, or residential treatment facility.
• Experience must include at least three (3) years of administrative and/or supervisory experience.
• Licensure in the State of Colorado required.
• Experience with Medicaid-funded behavioral health services, community mental health centers, specialty behavioral health programs, and regulatory compliance preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, develop programs, analyze data, and manage complex operational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Through the supervision of Program Coordinators, the Director ensures specialty programs deliver person-centered, recovery-oriented, and evidence-based services that support Health Solutions West's mission, strategic objectives, and contractual obligations.
• The Director is responsible for identifying gaps in care across the behavioral health continuum and developing innovative care coordination strategies that strengthen service integration, improve transitions of care, enhance community partnerships, and improve access to behavioral health services throughout the Health Solutions West service area.
