Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Raleigh, NC seeks a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to lead tactical occupancy planning, space layouts, and data-driven solutions for a portfolio of client spaces. You will drive move coordination and project support, partnering with Move Managers and CRE teams to deliver optimized space performance.

The role requires 7–10 years of related experience, a BA/BS in a related field, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.).
• 7-10 years of related experience.
• Experience in communicating with all levels of management.
• Development of site occupancy plans for short term and long-term scenarios to include supply and demand: analysis of forecasted headcount, seat supply projections, supporting graphs, stacking plans, move scenarios, pros/cons for scenarios/recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all facility space and personnel move requests within assigned territory to maximize space efficiencies.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with various client lines of business to understand their requirements and impacts to the portfolio.
• Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and asset utilization.
• Collaborates with Strategy, Project Management, Facility Management and other CRE team members.
• Interfaces with Client to develop options, finalize project concepts and prepare final documents for client approval.
• Serves as the primary client contact for relocation requests and collaborates with Move Manager.
• Oversees group moves and moves with special requirements and coordinates with Move Managers.
