Job summary

Millwood, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Director of Sourcing to shape national and regional sourcing strategy and to build a high-performing team of Sourcing Managers.

This senior leader partners with executive leadership to protect supply continuity, drive cost discipline, and advance profitability across Millwood's pallets, wood handling, and related services. You will coach, develop, and align talent with core values while delivering measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in sourcing or supply chain management.
• At least three (3) years in a people-management or team-lead role.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 35%.
• Experience in pallet manufacturing, lumber, or packaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Sourcing Managers across regions with clear goals.
• Own workload distribution and staffing, mitigating gaps before disruption.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Create development plans and oversee succession planning.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Quality, and manufacturing facilities.
• Travel 25–40% to support regional sourcing and supplier reviews.
