Job summary

INOX Solar Americas is seeking a Director of Engineering & Product Development to own the technical roadmap for cell and module products. You will build and lead the Greenville-based engineering organization, ensuring bankability, certification and compliance with U.S. content rules.

Lead product strategy, new development, and certification efforts across cells and modules, while coordinating with INOXGFL teams to share best practices. Relocation to Greenville, NC is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• 12+ years of engineering experience in solar PV, semiconductor or high-volume electronics manufacturing, including 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience bringing PV modules from design through certification into mass production.
• Working knowledge of UL 61730, IEC 61215/61730, and PV reliability testing and failure analysis.
• Strong grasp of module bill-of-materials trade-offs, cost modeling and design-for-manufacturing.
• Proven ability to present technical positions to customers, lenders and independent engineers.
• Authorization to work in the United States and willingness to relocate to the Greenville, NC area.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year product roadmap for Vega Series modules and Galaxion cells, aligned with customer needs.
• Translate market and policy inputs into product requirements and launch plans.
• Lead new module designs from concept through prototype to mass production.
• Drive design-for-manufacturing and cost-down programs across components and materials.
• Qualify domestic suppliers to strengthen content and supply resilience.
• Develop datasheets, PAN files and BOMs; conduct third-party verification.
• Coordinate with cell, module and supply-chain teams to optimize integration.
• Own product certification to UL 61730, IEC standards and reliability programs.
• Lead bankability audits and warranty-related testing.
• Support bids with datasheets, energy yields and installation guidance.
