SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Director of Solar Construction to lead drilling operations and foundation strategy for utility-scale solar projects across the U.S.

This role sits within SDI Services, SOLV Energy's affiliate, with frequent travel and high accountability. You will manage engineers and construction teams, ensure safety, timelines, budgets, and compliance, and collaborate with clients and subcontractors to deliver reliable foundations.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory skills.
• Extensive knowledge of solar construction techniques, equipment, and technology.
• Proficiency in solar project construction and understanding of solar array components.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and sense of urgency.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Understanding of project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating).

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement strategies for foundation drilling for solar installations.
• Lead and manage a professional team including engineers and construction workers.
• Collaborate with engineers/architects to design foundation solutions.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance throughout projects.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality control.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Oversee project plans and schedules from inception to completion.
• Maintain detailed daily construction records and logs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Superintendent to deliver client success.
• Communicate project progress and compliance with regulations.
