Job summary

Advanced Solutions International, Inc. (ASI) seeks a Manager of Software Quality to own the iMIS platform’s quality posture and establish the independent release-readiness gate. You will build Functional Quality, Test Automation, and Application Security practices to ensure quality across delivery streams.

You will lead, partner with engineering, product, and cloud operations, and drive improvements in defect prevention and secure software delivery for a growing, global client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field; required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering.
• 3+ years supervisory experience leading quality or quality engineering teams.
• Ownership of, or direct partnership with, an application security program: threat modeling and tooling.
• Ability to read and reason about C#/.NET and SQL Server to assess risk and guide remediation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD, and quality tooling.
• Working knowledge of cloud security fundamentals.
• Strong SDLC and quality framework knowledge; delivery model with engineering managers.
• Experience building and scaling Quality functions with mature teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality standard and the release gate across delivery streams.
• Own escaped defects as primary quality measure; drive down defect rate.
• Move quality upstream to the specification; assign quality owners.
• Lead and evolve Functional Quality and Test Automation teams.
• Stand up the application security practice and integrate security testing into CI/CD.
• Own security and compliance portfolios, including third-party testing and remediation.
• Direct test automation strategy and roadmap for all streams.
• Manage, develop, and retain quality staff; create career paths.
• Partner with engineering, cloud operations, and product leadership to move quality upstream.
• Report quality posture to leadership with defect and remediation metrics.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
