Job summary

Korn Ferry is recruiting on behalf of a technology-driven client in Central Pennsylvania for a Director of Software Engineering. This hands-on leadership role will own delivery across four feature teams and shape how engineering is structured, hired and developed.

You will partner with Product and Architecture leaders, drive AI adoption across the product lifecycle, and set engineering practices and standards while mentoring senior engineers to prepare for bigger roles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product engineering teams within a SaaS environment.
• Proven people leadership: hiring, developing leaders and managing performance.
• Strong technical credibility across cloud-native architecture, APIs and event-driven systems.
• Comfort with a modern stack: Java and Spring Boot, TypeScript and React, Kafka, AWS and Kubernetes.
• Clear, concise communication with both technical and executive audiences.
• Senior Engineering Managers ready for their first Director role are encouraged to apply.

Our client, an established and growing technology-driven organization in Central Pennsylvania, is hiring a Director of Software Engineering to build and lead an engineering team delivering modern digital products.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with real ownership. You will lead four feature teams, and shape how engineering is structured, hired and developed. You'll partner closely with Product and a dedicated architecture leader.
