Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an IT Director to lead the Adjudication platform, driving transformation, modernization and automation strategy. You will Direct a 50+ person technology team and partner with business leaders to deliver scalable, modular solutions that improve speed, reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities include establishing development standards, aligning architecture with roadmaps, enabling API-based integration, and overseeing budgets, resource planning and HR development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience in a large-scale environment, leading IT teams.
• Java Stack: Core Java, JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, JDBC, Hibernate.
• IBMi fundamentals: AS/400, CL commands, IFS.
• Modern Web Frontend: Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Database & SQL: SQL/400, DDS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
• DevOps & Tooling: Git, CI/CD, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes.
• APIs and microservices architecture; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Direct a 50+ technology professionals team and lead core adjudication programs.
• Develop and deliver optimized technology solutions for the Claims Adjudication platform.
• Set standards and roadmap alignment for modular, scalable adjudication functions.
• Oversee budgets, strategic planning, HR management and staff development.
