National Health Care Associates, Inc. in Augusta, Maine, seeks a Director of Social Services to lead the Social Services Department and ensure the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of residents.

You will develop and implement programs, supervise staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and serve as liaison with residents and families to support transitions and uphold residents' rights.

Competenze

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years in social services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a long-term care setting.
• Strong understanding of the aging process, psychosocial needs of the elderly, and the impact of chronic illness.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and build positive relationships with residents and their families.

As a Director of Social Services, you will lead our Social Services Department and the programs within it. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of our residents.

Rate of Pay

USD $62,000.00 - USD $74,000.00 /Yr.

What You’ll Bring:

Qualifications of a Director of Social Services:
