Job summary

Beast Industries is seeking a Director of Social Media (X/Twitter) to own our presence end to end, including Threads. You will report to the Head of Social Content and collaborate with video, editorial, and talent teams to push high-impact posts in real time across platforms.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years managing social media, 1M+ follower experience, and a track record in live coverage. The role offers remote work within the US with frequent travel, and a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years running social media with X/Twitter as primary platform.
• At least 2 years as the named owner of a large account (1M+ followers).
• Experience in real-time coverage (game days, premieres, launches, breaking moments).
• Ability to cut or brief editors on clips; not a pure writing role.
• Understanding of how content spreads and relationships in the creator/community space.

Responsibilities

• Own the publishing calendar end to end; write, package, and ship daily posts.
• Brief editors on cutdowns and captions from top videos.
• Adapt content for Threads and its distinct audience.
• Run real-time engagement and respond to trends the same day.
• Grow reach beyond owned accounts through the platform’s ecosystem.
• Craft branded content that performs like organic content.
• Coordinate with talent, brand, and communications teams for fast publishing.
• Collaborate with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Shorts teams for synchronized launches.
• Monitor sentiment and amplify positive momentum.
