Job summary

Distinction LLC is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee Residential Living, Recreation, Fitness, and Health Programs at the St. Louis Job Corps Center. The role ensures training, accountability, and effective management of Center Shift Managers and social development functions.

The position emphasizes preparing youth for the workforce through Career Success Standards, staff development, and program supervision. This is a center-based role focused on student growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or work-related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in a Job Corps or similar program.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• 5 years in supervisory/administrative roles in education or vocational training.
• Valid driver’s license in state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate administrative and program activities of the department.
• Provide staff training, evaluate performance, and implement staff changes.
• Oversee student leadership programs and related activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures.
