Job summary

Distinction LLC is seeking a full-time, hourly recreation coordinator to oversee leisure-time and leadership programs for Trainees at the St. Louis Job Corps Center. • Associate degree in a work-related field is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification desirable to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Directs trainees in leisure-time recreation and leadership programs.
• Organizes and implements recreation/non-vocational activities to encourage participation.
• Coordinates materials, supplies, and equipment for programs.
• Develops weekly contests and tournaments and assists with events.
• Coaches intramural/varsity teams and supports fitness programs.
• Ensures compliance with DOL requirements and safety practices.
