JRG Partners, LLC is confidentially retained to identify a Service Director for a Michigan electrical contractor. You will lead a seasoned service operation, drive profitability, and expand commercial and industrial service opportunities while shaping strategy with top executives.

The role requires 7–10+ years in electrical contracting and 3–5+ years in service department leadership, with a Journeyman or Master Electrician background preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of commercial and industrial electrical contracting experience.
• 3-5+ years managing an electrical service department or similar service operations.
• Proven ability to manage service personnel, accounts, finances, and customer relationships.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and job costing capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• 7-10+ years of commercial and industrial electrical contracting experience.
• 3-5+ years managing an electrical service department or comparable service operations.
• Demonstrated success overseeing service personnel, account managers, financial performance, and customer relationships.
• Strong experience with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, job costing, and operational management.
• Proven ability to generate profitable growth and develop recurring service business.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• An entrepreneurial, results-oriented leadership style with the ability to develop people and build customer confidence.
• Journeyman or master electrician background preferred.
