Job summary

Meeting Street Schools seeks an accomplished Director of Operations to lead non-instructional functions, ensuring facilities, safety, enrollment, and compliance run with excellence across the campus. Reporting to the COO, you will build efficient systems, drive strategic operational direction, and supervise school-based staff to support a life-changing education.

You will partner with network teams to optimize processes, manage budgets, and uphold high expectations for service and accountability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in operations with proven success in driving sustainable processes.
• Experience working in educational or nonprofit environments is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and balance deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead school operations and strategic direction across campus to support teaching and learning.
• Oversee facilities, safety, enrollment, compliance, and ancillary services.
• Develop and manage the school master calendar and campus budget with leaders.
• Coach and develop operations staff; conduct regular team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Title I and district/state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate vendor relationships for custodial, food service, security, and maintenance.
