Job summary

Lev HaTorah Academy of Baltimore is seeking an Operations Manager to build and lead the school’s operational infrastructure for Preschool through Middle School, with separate boys’ and girls’ divisions.

Reporting to the Head of School, the role oversees facilities, safety, grants, budget, and day-to-day operations, ensuring a secure, efficient environment and strong service to families and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of executive or senior leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee communications, fundraising, finance, and daily operations.
• Lead a staff of approx. 25 and support students, families, and prospective families.
• Liaise with landlord for maintenance and facility needs.
• Manage campus safety, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee operating budget with focus on fiscal responsibility and accuracy.
• Coordinate government grants, funding processes, reporting, and distribution.
• Represent Head of School at meetings with agencies and partners when needed.
• Support operational priorities and school-wide goals with Head of School.
• Assist with HR functions including hiring, onboarding, policies, and development coordination.
• Engage with staff, families, and community with professionalism and confidentiality.
